- We work within the framework of the traditional Architectural design phases. These phases are Pre-Design, Concept Design, Design Development (Town Planning, if required), Contract Documentation and Contract Administration (Construction).
- We advise on which consultants are required for your project, and work with Town Planning consultants and Building Surveyors to obtain Planning and Building Permits, respectively.
- We seek to create projects that balance function and aesthetics. Our aesthetic is unfussy and classic. We employ a low-tech approach to sustainable design that prioritises natural light and ventilation, thermal insulation and optimal site orientation. We prioritise building material choices and processes that are socially and environmentally conscious (we believe both are linked). Yes, we’re Architects who do Interiors as well. We love a neutral palette, but we’re not afraid to use colour where warranted.

Principal Architect, Meena Gill, brings 20+ years of Architectural experience from the public, commercial and residential design and construction sectors.
Livity Architecture & Interiors is based in the leafy North-East of Naarm on Wurundjeri willam Country. We design and build on unceded Aboriginal Country. We recognise the continued connection which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have to the land, waters and skies of this continent. We pay the rent via First Nations mutual-aid.
